I think Williamson is interesting insomuch as I’ve anecdotally seen a lot of new age stuff hit with my generation and I think Grim is right to acknowledge it (hough I think the TikTok stuff is a little bit of a stretch, but a decent hook).
My business (news/editorial/etc.) goes way hard into analyzing policy and not enough into the soft stuff (narratives and “vibes,” mostly). The soft stuff moves voters quite a bit.
It's true, we are emotional creatures. I for one would like a Return to Love but I'm not going to vote for it over cold hard policy (not least because I'm not American but you get my gist) however as a young un, probably could have been swayed.
